Joan's Garden
(Nov 2000)

| Memorial Roses | Back to Archive |

So here we are, 21-11-00; shot of the back corner. Beans are well under way going up their trellis; potatoes well up; the rose is determined to take over the entire tree.
The rose is well over the pergola top. There is a big gap showing on the right of the shot -- we lost a large photinia earlier last month. I requested an apple tree to replace it; might as well grow something edible.
Now you can see how well the potatoes are doing. Leola's rose is just in view to the right.
Here's the new look front lawn; Joan has her deckchair all ready waiting for the next sunny day. The small green pedestal is actually Joan's drinks tableand should be next to the deckchair. We have ordered a small fountain to go in the space behind.
