  Joan at Holly Lodge Winery.   Holly Lodge is a local Historic Building.
   
  Just down the road from Holly Lodge is an ostrich farm. These were imported to provide low-cholesterol meat, but really didn't succeed in the market.   On the way up to Stratford, we saw this well-drilling rig. There are commercial quantities of gas and oil in Taranaki.
   
  . Typical 'hill country'', fertile but steep.   The Turner's farm is also hilly.
